Between the Veil arrives in Melbourne during the tide of Beltane, on Saturday, the 6th of November 2027. The day unfolds with our Village marketplace, workshops, guest speakers, food, and ritual. As the sun descends, the current shifts—and the night awakens with our renowned Fairy Ball.

What are the festival details?
Between the Veil opens its door from 10am to 5pm on Saturday the 6th of November 2027.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for this festival?
Yes, Between the Veil is a ticketed festival.
Is Parking Available?
Yes, we have secured FREE parking at the venue. Street parking is also available but is subject to time frames and permit zones.
Is public transport close by?
Yes, the Melbourne Show Grounds is close to both bus and tram stops. If taking the tram, we recommend taking Tram 57 from Newmarket Station and getting off at stop 33.
Is the festival kid-friendly?
Yes, during the day, the festival is kid-friendly. However, the Masquerade Ball is strictly 18+
Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, absolutely! the festival (including workshops and Fairy Ball) is wheelchair accessible.
Will there be food and drink at the festival?
Yes, we have organised a variety of food and drink vendors for the day.
If I register for a workshop, do I still need to purchase a General Admissions ticket?
Yes, you will still need to purchase a general admissions ticket to enter the festival.
How many Workshops/Classes can I register for?
You can register for as many as you like! Keep in mind there are multiple workshop/classes running at the same time, make sure not to double book yourself!
Who will be teaching the workshop and classes?
All your teachers are steeped in their craft, consisting of elders of communities and traditions, professionals witches and authors.
Will we receive any notes or workshop resources?
Yes, you will receive workshop notes and resources that will differ from workshop to workshop.
Does my general admission ticket cover the Masquerade Ball entry?
Unfortunately, general admission does not cover the Fairy Ball entry. You will need to register for the Fairy Ball separately.
What time does the Fairy Ball start?
The Fairy Ball runs from 7 pm to 11.30 pm.
